Does GoZERO offer any discounts?

Yes, GoZERO does offer discounts, but not many. We do offer a 10% discount to k-12 schools and 501.c.3 charitable organizations on ongoing/routine food waste to composting disposal services, but not ever much of anything else.

Disposal services, bulk compost, bagged compost, etc are all priced at "cost plus sustaining margin," and in time despite factors like inflation etc our goal is to make our products and services as accessible as possible by always working toward greater efficiencies in scale, logistics, and process improvement so that we can offer the lowest sustainable regular price.

We tend to price products and services at cost plus a sustaining margin so as to facilitate incremental growth year over year and insure we'll be here for years to come in order to keep doing the good work of food waste composting, doing the literal and figurative heavy lifting so as to empower, enable, and inspire individuals and organizations to do what they can to actively steward their food waste and consider how else the might pursue more and ongoing active stewardship in general.

We maintain an operational capability and work to offer world class support around it. Figuring out how to pay for it, we ask our customers to help do that. Fortunately, with a little work, grants and even unique inhouse funding mechanisms like finding budget in marketing, education, citizenship, or HR departments is very often a viable option because of the incredible upside halo effect composting can have.

If finding budget from within a facilities, operations, or other cost center budget is presenting a problem, consider structuring your prospective composting program as an employee and patron facing benefit where funding may be easier to find and keep. Adding a community food waste drop-off station or a bring your food waste to work offering are two ways this could be done.
